The COVID-19 Catalyst
In 2020, when COVID-19 changed everything, I found myself with time to explore new passions. As an art student with a love for games, I was curious about how they were created. This curiosity led me to start with game development, marking the beginning of my tech journey.
Backend Foundations
After a few months in game development, I pivoted to software development, starting with Python. I built small side projects and landed internships at HNG and Ingressive for Good (I4G). I learned Django REST Framework, building APIs and gaining real-world experience.
Technical Writing & Knowledge Sharing
Beyond development, I'm also a technical writer, creating content on technologies, products, technical API documentation, and more. This helps me stay updated with the latest trends while sharing knowledge with the community.
Frontend & Full-Stack Growth
To make my projects more visible and push them further, I learned frontend technologies - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I started getting small gigs, working for startups, and building experience. This led me to learn AWS, Digital Ocean, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and many more technologies as needed for projects.
Professional Growth & Leadership
My journey progressed from intern developer to junior developer, and eventually to lead developer. I worked based on contracts, remotely, part-time, full-time, and gigs. Each role taught me different aspects of development and project management.
Web3 & Blockchain Exploration
When I discovered Web3, I was amazed by the possibilities in this field. I started learning blockchain technology, building on it, and exploring decentralized applications. This opened up a whole new world of opportunities and technical challenges.
Freelancing & Entrepreneurship
I've been freelancing for a while, but in late 2024, I decided to take it to a whole new level. Through this, I've met diverse clients - local and international, startups, and personal entities. I've built SaaS platforms, blockchain solutions, landing page solutions, e-commerce platforms, e-learning solutions, and even freelancing solutions for tailors.
